Norman

Normski was a dodgy 1980s rapper who recently released a Christmas song featuring 12 whistling milkmen, one of whom was Baby Spice's uncle. Why you'd feel the need to erect such a truly excellent bar in his honour we frankly don't know, but seeing as this place is called Bar Norman (Norm), and looks a bit like a kitsch ski lodge (Ski), that's the only logical conclusion we can come to. Perhaps like Itchy, Normski appreciates the freaky-chic décor that has won awards from Japanese style mags. Maybe he loves the noodles and dim sum to eat in or take away, with plenty of veggie options and new ideas like banana gyoza with cardamom and cinnamon syrup. We'd guess that he'd prefer the big walloping burgers and phat fat chips though, or the breakfasts they serve all day Sundays with free mags and newspapers. He might be the kind of chap that appreciates the wide, sophisticated selection of world beers; then again, a Gangsta Ra-pear cocktail would be more apt. The expert DJs spin everything but cheese, keeping it chilled during the day and heating things up on weekend nights, when Norman gets stuffed like an olive with tasty people marinating themselves in luscious alcohol and rolling happily around the dancefloor. We've never heard them drop a Normski track though. Funny that.
