Extremely popular Headingley Italian, it's been here for years, built up a loyal customer base and is nearly always rammed. The food's very good but you spend the evening crushed up closely with your fellow diners, firstly waiting for a table in the tiny bar – you can't book – and then sat practically on each others laps as the tables are so close together. You can't help longing to dine somewhere more spacious, like a submarine. Best time to go is for the two courses for a fiver lunchtime extravaganza.
