Whitelocks

Now this is what I like to see, a place where you can absorb a bit of bygone culture while getting shit–faced at the same time. Hidden away down an alley in the centre of town – so the pigeons can't find it –they are rather fond of bitter and salt and vinegar crisps –, the building dates from the 18th century and is a haven of old worldy charm. It's the kind of place that tourists would love – if they could ever find it –, what with its fine selection of beers and tasty sarnies
