Nam An

It's hard to bring the magic of the East to the needle-strewn streets of Camden, but Nam An gives it go. They've added a little romance to everything – from the pretty pagoda-style seating to the mahogany fretwork in the windows – cleverly blocking your view of the foul-mouthed drunks on the pavement having their new piercings licked clean by their begging dogs. The only shame is that the food, while reasonably priced, substantially portioned and quite tasty, is not really Vietnamese.
