The Cartoon Museum
Did you know the first British Newspaper cartoon was published in 1832? Now you do, and there's plenty more where that came from at this cute lil' museum, which traces the history of the cartoon right up to the latest graphic novels and Manga comics. A couple of hours is sufficient in the library-like silence, broken every so often by the chuckle of a visitor. And who wouldn't laugh at a picture of a glum Boris Johnson atop City Hall with the caption: 'Be careful what you wish for – it might come true'?
