Prince Charles Cinema
You've stepped into a parallel universe, where Leicester Square is a good place to see a movie. Instead of a hulking Odeon, you're in a cosy, single-screener. Instead of the retina-searing brightness, you're down a pleasingly seedy backstreet – and instead of £19, you paid £1.50. Prices are kept low by showing mainstream flicks after they've come off general release (handy if you're slow off the mark) and cult faves like A Clockwork Orange. Just when the place couldn't get any better, Quentin Tarantino went and namechecked it.
