Octave

Octave is the anti-Neverland, and it's hypnotised us with its grown-up charms. Unpretentious bar staff mixing quality cocktails, live jazz, comfortable tables, and a clientele ranging from your bachelor great-uncle to the simpering young fillies he's chatting up at the bar. While a gravel-throated soul singer has the draw of our eye, we find our drinking slows down, our feet start a dad-ish tap and even our repertoire of fart-jokes seems a little less witty.
