Legend has it (incorrectly) that this used to be a brothel and each of the rooms where you can now sing until you're hoarse and drink until you're missing your mouth was once a fully kitted-out, cuffs-on-the-wall 'private room'. It's a shame it's not true, partly because it'd be a great story, and also, because, frankly, we'd need to be cuffed to stay for more than half an hour in this dingy place. Some say it has grimy Soho chic. We think it's just a bit shit.
