Absolute Vintage

A cornerstone for any indie kid's visit to Spitalfields; this cavernous store is crammed with enough retro threads to keep even the most ardent fashion slave in fits for hours. Girls, sift through racks of dresses from the 40s onwards, gaze at stilettos dangling in an unladylike fashion from sheets of metal and search among accessories strewn all over the place. The men's section demands 'Who do you want to be' – sailor, soldier, cowboy, cricketer? By the time you've 'found yourself' among the vast quantity of remnants, the clothes you have on will have become vintage.
