Alphabet Bar

There's shabby-chic and then there's just plain shabby. Alphabet is right on the brink. Mangy old leather car seats and an even older map of London painted on to the floor of the downstairs bar give a rough edge to the eclectic décor. The rotating art work galleried on the walls and the focus on great cocktails manage to heave the general ambience back in the right direction, though, and you get the feeling that if this bar were in Brick Lane, it would fit like an indie kid's bum in a pair of skinny jeans.
