Electric Ballroom

The Electric Ballroom is a tad like the wino community round this locale. Bit smelly, bit dirty and very ragged round the edges, but Camden just wouldn't be Camden without it. It's been around forever and has played host to some of the world's best performers. But, if you want to sample their Friday night 'Sin City' (rock and alternative) or Saturdays 'Shake' (pop and dance) get a wriggle on. Transport for London are trying to get it bulldozed to make way for a shiny new station so get there quick before it becomes an 'Oyster' bar.
