If you fancy yourself as a writer there's no better bar to stalk the staff of the glossies, whose mags are based over the road from this arty hideaway - 'the first café-bar in the UK' (apparently). The cocktails are huge and brilliant value, especially during happy hour and the sandwiches are damn fine, but you don't want to get too pissed in here girls, not in high heels. The metal staircase is a danger zone, rendering any wobbly walker more than capable of a Freudian slip.
