Admiral Codrington

The Cod, as it's affectionately known, is a firm fave with Euan Blair and other socialites in the area, but still retains quite an unpretentious aura. We were impressed by the mammoth wine and champers menu, although you'll need to have something to celebrate if you're staying. The food's a bit pricey, (a roast dinner plus wine will set you back more than £15) but the quality, wooden seats and comfy demeanour will win you over. In the summer, their retractable roof is pretty damn cool, too.
