Notting Hill Arts Club
We haven't seen this many gruesome-looking tools in a basement since Freddy Kruger gave us the guided tour of his kiddy-butchering torture chamber in Nightmare on Elm Street. Still, if you can stand the slant towards pretentious indie pop types trying to look hip through greasy fringes, you'll have yourself a rocking time in the most popular club on the block. Drinks are pretty cheap, the live bands are usually awesome, and we love Death Disco, when the legendary Alan McGee spins choons smoother than his head.
