Mau Mau Bar

With bags of personality - although some might be a little too toff at times - this live music venue hits all the right notes for a loud night out with the 'cool' people. It gets quite crowded at weekends but during the day Mau Mau's comfy sofas are a great place to chill, sip coffee and scan the papers, and they book some great gigs. You might want to give the open mic nights a miss though. There's only so many Chelsea girls singing dreary acoustic ballads one can handle without vomming into an overpriced pint.
