Origin

Origin is the new bar and restaurant at the private members' club Hospital, and they've decided to throw open their doors to the public. An absolute result as far as Itchy is concerned. Covent Garden has long been a wasteland as far as decent bars and shopping pitstops are concerned, so we couldn't believe our luck when we waltzed upstairs to a navy-blue leather paradise. The walls are studded and covered with work by the Wilson sisters and David Hockney. The food was mind-blowing, ranging from frogs legs through to a mint-chocolate souffle with ice-cream that looked like a space-age dairy hen had just laid it. If you're out to impress, book one of the curved banquettes. Itchy is already planning a series of secret assignations here...
