Giving Jamie O a run for his money is this project restaurant, which provides catering training for the local unemployed. And it's every bit as stylish as Fifteen, set in a listed neo-gothic school with stunning design. As you can imagine it's currently 'place-of-the-moment' and so booking ahead is essential. But it's worth the pre-planning to get your mouth around the delights on offer - simple meat and fish dishes with interesting sides. Salmon, prawns and steak all went down well on our visit and everyone loved the salads. Everything is available in two sizes with prices adjusted accordingly - spot-on for over-excited sharers, who'll be able to order a shedload and still have room for dessert. There's a definite buzz about the place, good outside seating and staff are helpful beyond the call of duty. Lovely.
