Let's get one thing straight. There's nothing wrong with Queensbury and there's nothing, per se, wrong with this pub. It's just not, we repeat not, somewhere you'd make a trip to specially. Yes, even if the name does make it sound like a country idyll. But let's say you're here for a trip to B&Q and after a couple of hours fiddling with screwdrivers and the like, you fancy a drink. Now that would be a good time to come. There's a generous happy hour, pub food, a big screen and that motorway boozer feel that's so difficult to find these days. Inside is all dark wood and lurid carpets: bog standard décor for an OK pub.
