Pelican, The

This is a funny little fella, you know. The Pelican used to be a pub selling organic beer. That didn't work soo the City Rockers gang reopened it in the spring of 2003 on a freakishly warm Sunday and the crowds went wild with welcome. But since then, instead of becoming a bastion of Notting Hill night life it's kind of ... not. I mean, it's busy as hell at the weekends and it has some spot on DJ nights but it's still ...It just doesn't feel right. You know? Good for a late pint - closes at 12 - and you can have a good party upstairs. But apart from that ... it's just a bit. Blah.
