Perseverance

A gastro pub that could probably start its own fan club. The upstairs restaurant is the real punter-puller with impressively classy meat and fish dishes order of the day. Downstairs, drinkers stand around willing the seated to leave or wishing they'd thought to book for the restaurant. Still there's a decent wine list and real ales to keep them amused. And this is a lovely place to while away a few hours.
