Foundry, The

Imagine the sixth form centre you always wished you had, crossed with backstage at a rock opera– come on, use your imagination – welcome to The Foundry experience. The shambolic atmosphere means that nothing can ever be guaranteed – DJs (probably) play at the weekends, and there are more often than not exhibitions on downstairs. But that's half the fun, and with cheap beers to boot, this is definitely the best bar in Hoxton – its only fault is that it closes with All Bar One style efficiency at eleven.
