A round of applause, some indiscriminate loud whooping and a cricket clap. Little Bay is so damned good it hurts, and thankfully not the wallet. At first you think the prices are a misprint – £1.75 for starters & £5.45 for mains before 7pm & £2.95/£7.95 after –, then you assume it's going to be shit. It isn't. Like its sister restaurant in Battersea, here you'll find simple meat, fish and veggie dishes served with ample accompaniments. A three–course meal, with a touch of romance, that you can actually pay for without crying. A modern miracle for cash–strapped Londoners.
