One of London's best gastro pubs and a fine place to demonstrate knowledge gleaned from years of daytime TV. 'Delightful notes of fresh sage on the carrots Jeffrey'. 'Why, Cordelia, I do believe I detect some Kurdish oyster mushrooms in this sumptuous sauce'. More gastro than pub with white tablecloths, clinking cutlery and food-obsessed but well-behaved punters. Sunday lunch is a must.
