Cafe Emm

If you're on some poncey diet you'll hate it here. Café Emm is a restaurant of the old school, and though we're sure you'll muddle through with your South Beach/Atkins/Space Food wankery, concessions to carb-free are few and far between. Music to our ears. And as for the prices? Excuse us while we run a second whooping lap of honour round the office. Cafe Emm's cheap and cheerful menu - think fishcakes, falafel, burgers, ploughman's - will win you serious brownie points with whoever's paying and tastes damned fine. It's not romantic or somewhere to impress with but for boozy work-dos, dates with your best mate and couples who're well past the flirting stage it'll do the job just fine.
