Penk's

Queen's Park's Salusbury Road is awash with decent places to drink and dine. Penks is no exception - locals treat it with the kind of joyful affection usually reserved for indie band reunions and the food is mighty fine. We're talking fancy wines, bread & butter pudding, fishcakes, unusual ways with meat and fish, a cheese board from heaven - the works. They change the menu regularly, the vibe is chilled and the locals are miles from snooty - things here are good.
