The Phoenix Café is a welcome haven from the stark minimalism of newer eateries. This is your no-frills, greasy spoon specialising in what Jamie Oliver would call 'pukka' sarnies and all–day fried breakfasts. Proper food at decent prices. Try to avoid the lunch hour rush –it's quick service but it ain't McDonalds.
