Kings Head Theatre
Why anyone would join the puking freaks at the Walkabout for a late drink in Angel when the Kings Head exists remains one of life's great mysteries. This cracking boozer/bar has been around for donkeys and at the back there's an intimate theatre where plays frequently start their journey to west-end fame. It's not just the roar of the grease paint and smell of the crowds that attract punters to the bar there's also live music seven nights a week mostly jazz/blues a pool table and some blinding south Indian food. The Kozhy Varatharachathu is a particular favourite and not just because it sounds funny.
