Dragon

This bar looks like a New York loft space circa 1981, but with a bar, and in East London. Every man and his goat knows about it now and despite the lack of signage it's easy enough to find. A lack of gender signage in the graffiti toilets causes endless amusement –make sure you don't look like an outsider by noting that it's girls to the right and boys to the left. Other than that it checks all your standard Hoxton boxes: bare floorboards, dripping ceilings, concrete, mullets, DJs tossing off through their vinyl collection and seating that gives you the feeling that somewhere there's a nursing home missing all its soft furnishings.
