White Bear, The

Yeah, there's some fizzy water behind the bar somewhere, and a bottle of wine for the ladies, but this, my friends, is a proper boozer. It's blokey, basic, good value and always, always shows the footy. Punters are friendly, sporty, lager lads with the odd media slave thrown in for good measure. You can hire the place for a weekend party - like many venues round here Saturday nights are quiet - and rest assured that they will never give you your change on a tray.
