They've got the basics right: micro-brewery beers, laid-back crowd, no wanky door policy and decent bar snacks. It's the details they need to work on. The beers are slightly too expensive to put a smile on your face, the crowd just that bit too straight out of the office to truly relax and the lighting's just plain wrong. As you sit back with your Freedom Pilsner there's part of you that wonders if you'd do as well to sit in your mate's airing cupboard with a pint of homebrew. Fortunately for them there's another part of you that realises that would just be plain stupid.
