One of the better late-drinking haunts in South London, Sand offers a touch of low-key style to SW4's 'seen it all before' types. Join them in the stone-coloured interior for cocktails, beers and shabby-chic sofas. Seating is at a premium so try and bag some early on. Otherwise, come 10pm you'll be part of the sofa stand-off – all stilted conversation and eagle eyes – rather than lounging on your chair with a view of the action. Music is funky but not too intrusive and the feel is good times all round.
