Bar Gansa

This is one place where, even if you can get your hands on the outside seating, you should stay inside for the buzz. Gansa has a real feel to it: part wanton exchange student debauchery, part classy tapas bohemia. When they're busy – which is often – diners are favoured over drinkers. Get round this by ordering a few tapas and claim your place in the throng. We've spent many a happy evening here slurring compliments at the bar staff and refusing to leave at closing time. Just watch the stairs to the toilets – steeper than you think after a few for the road.
