Waverley Cafe

Itchy often feels like the day is incomplete when we don't see the old man with the home-made aluminium skull cap standing outside the Waverley Cafe. He isn't the only eccentric who hangs around this place though. There's an abundance of greasy spooners and a handful of oddball Bathonians who spend their days here; eating all-day breakfasts, lasagne and chips. It's cheap, charming and cheerful, but if you're foolish enough to complain about the grease-caked counter, don't be surprised if you find yourself being beaten up by a hairy truck-driver.
