Blackstone's has cleverly cornered the market for lunch in Bath. What they did was actually create really good food and then sell it. It's as simple as that, although don't let the 'gourmet takeaway' get you thinking you'll be tucking into foie gras and beluga. It's much more wholesome and hearty than all that. Visit Blackstone's and you'll get a weekly changing menu of soups, stews and sandwiches with a restauranty-twist to them. The queues are so big, some have been known to set up camp outside the night before. Well, not really. But it is popular.
