White Hart, The

Gentrification is a funny thing; The White Hart used to be the pits, a pub that no one would ever thing of trekking out to Widcombe for. Now, thanks to a lick of paint and some tables and chairs salvaged from a jumble sale then savaged down to trendy bare wood levels, it's one of Bath's hottest tickets. The food is excellent but the bar's opening times can be confusingly irregular, despite the fact that they sometimes stretch well into the night.
