Walcot Street

There's a massively diverse selection of goodies to be had in this bohemian part of Bath. So if you start from town, you're offered the following from independent boutiques; hats, designer fridges, futons, fine cheese, mountain gear, old books, bikes and sewing machines. Then there's the flea market on Saturdays, where you can spend a good hour or so wandering from stall to stall bartering to get the right price. They even have their own passports on Walcot Nation Day when the whole street is given over to parades, music, food and a whole feast of other brilliant stuff. Watch out for this event as part of the Fringe festival in June.
