Old Farmhouse, The

Growing up, The Old Farmhouse was the only place that would accept our poorly faked ID, and though usually deserted, at about 9pm on a Saturday night it would fill to bursting point. We discovered that The Old Farmhouse was as famed for its live jazz sessions every weekend as for the fact they'd accept a flimsy piece of paper, hand-written by a dyslexic, as proof of age. Nowadays they're rather more savvy about identification, but the jazz is still wonderful and the locals more than worth joining for a pint and a toe-tap.
