The World Chocolate Masters 2008, the sweetest of competitions, organised by Callebaut, Cacao Barry and Carma, is around the corner, coming on 14th October.

The competition attracts creative chocolate craftspeople from every corner of the globe, to decide who has the brightest idea, the best skills and the sweetest tooth. From the UK, six finalists have been chosen and ready to fight in the UK finals at the Restaurant Show on 6th October.

The winner of the UK final will get a ticket for the World Final taking place at the Salon du Chocolat in Paris. Contestants will be asked to present a chocolate masterpiece based on this year's theme, 'Haute Couture'.

Beautifully cut and shaped, a chic and surreal piece of clothing will be showcased as the very best practice in the contemporary chocolate.
