Pimm's Summerfest

We at Itchy can barely recall how many times we've spat our lunch all over our monitor while having a sneaky peek at youtube during work.

What? You're no saint either.

There's nothing better than a comedy desk break to listen to the genius of Russell Howard (pictured), Robin Ince, Russell Kane and the mighty Stephen Lynch. It's possibly the only thing that makes dining al-desco bearable... Well, apart from booby-trapping your colleague's spinny-chairs, but that's a whole other feature.

And we can now tell you, from the bottom of our chuckling stomach that we are ecstatic, nay, near eurphoric about the Pimm's Summerfest – THE comedy event of London 2008.

Held under the canopied 1000 seat open sided Holland Park Theatre over five days, all performances offer (and by this we mean promise) weather-proofed hilarity. Finally, you hear us cry, a dry festival. Hallelujah.

Sean Hughes (performing Friday night), Arnab Chanda and Shappi Khorsandi (both performing on Sunday night) have just been added to the already massive line up which looks as follows:
