Aperitivo hits London

Giorgio Locatelli has a somewhat hefty fan base. Not only are Itchy bowing at his feet but Madonna, Gwyneth and Liz Hurley are down there too. And now London has the chance to taste why...

Working with Peroni, Locatelli has exclusively created a series of recipes around the hot trend of Aperitivo. This is so Italian darling. It basically means delicate, tasty, small-plates of food accompanied by refreshing, light alcoholic drinks. It's a little elaborate (well depending on the creations you're presented with) but it works really well.

Traditionally it's served in the early hours of the evening, you know, after work when most people in England are drinking on empty stomachs... and we all know how that ends! Itchy thinks some Brits could do with taking on this European trend.
